- Surgery for Cancer of the Liver, Pancreas, Gallbladder, and Bile ducts
- Supra-major, major and minor resections of Primary and Metastatic Liver Cancer
- Surgery for Recurrent Liver Cancers. Minimally invasive techniques of treating liver tumours – including ultrasound guided ablation (Radiofrequency / Microwave)
- Surgery for cancer of the Stomach and Intestine (Small Intestine, Colon, Rectum)
- Treatment of Pancreatitis, Biliary strictures, Gallbladder disease (stones) – Laparoscopic / Robotic Cholecystectomy
Dr Abhirup Banerjee did his MBBS from B J Medical College, Pune in 2005 and Post-Graduation (MS in General Surgery) from the Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education & Research (IPGMER) in 2011. He subsequently completed his Fellowship in Surgical Gastroenterology and Liver Transplantation from the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi in 2014.
Dr Banerjee moved to London (UK) in 2016 for advanced training where he held several prestigious positions over a period of 7 years. He returned to his hometown Mumbai in 2023 and joined the highly respected P.D. Hinduja Hospital.
During his time in the UK, he worked in various capacities and received several accolades:

He has undertaken significant research work in the field of tumour biology and cancer evolution especially studying the spread of cancer to the liver. He has several book chapters as well as high-impact paper publications in national and international journals to his credit.
